Timeline
- Team Registration Begin: Mar 5, 2025
- Starter-Kit Release: Mar 10, 2025
- Paper Submission Deadline: Apr 1, 2025
- Paper Notification: April 8, 2025
- Paper Cemera Ready: April 15, 2025
- Solution Submission Deadline: Apr 15, 2025
- Winner Notification: Apr 25, 2025
- Winner Announcement: May 9 at the conference IEEE IDS 2025

Winners will be invited to attend the conference and have the opportunity to present their work and poster at the conference.
Registration
Team registration is done through the TBD. Please ensure that all team members provide their full names, emails, institutions, and the team name. We encourage you to use your institutional email to register.
The top 3 winners of each task should register the conference and present their work in person or online at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper should register the conference. Winners or papers with “No Show” may be redacted. Participants will be required to agree to this requirement at the time of submission.
Rules
The rules of the FinRL Contest 2025 aim to ensure fairness, transparency, and ethical conduct while also encouraging contestants to engage in knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the community:
- Each team should consist of 1 to 4 people and should only register once. Each participant must join one and only one team.
- Submission files should follow the format of the baseline solution and the requirements.
- Each team can make multiple submissions to each task during the competition. The most recent submission will be used for final evaluation.
- Contestants can communicate with the organizers through Discord or email.
- We embrace the open-source community. At the end of the contest, contestants are encouraged to release their work as open-source.
- Contestants are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity throughout the contest.
